R&B singer Faith Evans, the former wife of late rapper Notorious B.I.G., is the latest celebrity to run afoul of the Internal Revenue Service. According to reports, the state of California has issued a tax lien against Evans. The singer is being pursued for back taxes.
Faith reportedly failed to pay taxes to the state for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 and she has racked up a debt in the amount of $60,357.17.
The state of California could repossess virtually any of the singer's assets to pay the debt if she doesn't make arrangements. The singer has faced financial issues for the past several years, including tax liens and lawsuits.
