Pusha T. of G.O.O.D. has officially signed a solo recording deal with Def Jam. The Virginia-born rapper says that he joined the legendary imprint due to “the prestige of the label and their willingness to work with his vision.” The rapper becomes the latest artist to join the label that has been the most respected name in hip hop for 25 years.
“Solidifying my first solo venture, G.O.O.D Music/Def Jam is my home,” he said. “That machine with my creativity is gonna make for satisfied hip-hop fans.”
The rapper is expected to release his "Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray" EP on September 27th. Pusha T is currently working on his full-length debut for G.O.O.D. Music.
