Plies Testifies In Shooting Case

Rapper Plies finally took the stand to defend himself and his entourage in a lawsuit dating back to an incident from 2006. Back then, gunfire erupted at Plies show in Gainesville, Florida and five in attendance were injured. This is the second civil suit the rapper has faced over the shooting.
Allegedly, Plies's brother, Ronell Levatte, and two other men fired shots into the air during the show when Plies' mic was cut off. Plies testified that he had nothing to do with what the other men did.
A court judge previously dismissed the case in July 2010 on the basis that Plies had not fired the weapon. The plaintiffs are now claiming that Plies has profited from their injuries.
