Madonna's Hip Hop-Assisted Halftime Show

Pop icon Madonna gave a spectacular Super Bowl Halftime performance that featured a medley of some of her classic hits like "Vogue" and "Music," but saved the newest for last, as she performed her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'" with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. and sang a second medley with Cee-Lo Green.
Dance pop act LMFAO also performed their hits "Party Rock Anthem," and "I Know It."
Madonna's extravagant performance featured ancient Roman themes, a cheerleader section, a marching band and a gospel choir. The show continued a quasi-rebirth for hip hop artists at the Super Bowl Halftime show that began with last year's performance by the Black Eyed Peas, which had been the first time hip hop artists were included since Nelly, Kid Rock and Diddy performed part of the show in 2004--famous for Janet Jackson's notorious 'Nipplegate.'
