Wale To Be Featured In Ballet

D.C. rapper Wale will be featured in a groundbreaking production alongside the U.K.'s Royal Ballet. The Maybach Music Group artist will participate with Boy George, Johnathan Pierce, Allison Mosshart and The Kills in the ballet, which is called "Carbon Life."

Producer Mark Ronsonwrote nine songs for the ballet alongside producer Andrew Wyatt of Swedish pop band Miike Snow. The show is being choreographed by Wayne McGregor of the Royal Ballet and orchestrated by Rufus Wainwright.

“Carbon Life” is slated to open in April in what is being called a 'one of a kind' featured production.
