Biggie Jacket Up For Auction

Notorious B.I.G.'s status as one of the most revered figures in hip hop remains undiminished a decade-and-a-half after his untimely death. An authentic jacket worn by the late rapper is due to be auctioned later this month in New York City. The property will be sold by Philip Weiss Auctions during a three-day sale.

A representative for Philip Weiss Auctions said that the item has already attracted “intense interest.”

The jacket has Flipmode and Funkmaster Flex logos emblazoned on the front and sleeve. The auction takes place April 19th thru the 21st and features several other pieces of celebrity memorabilia, ranging from animation art, rock & roll collectibles and stamps.
