D'Angelo continued to generate headlines as he attempts to make a musical comeback. The singer appeared onstage at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee during ?uestlove's set.
The acclaimed singer/songwriter performed several covers, including Jimi Hendrix's "(Have You Ever Been To) Electric Ladyland," the Beatles' "She Came In Through the Bathroom Window," and Parliament's "Funky Dollar Bill."
The performance comes in anticipation of his scheduled appearance at the Essence Music Festival this July. D'Angelo is reportedly prepping a new album for release--his first studio album since 2000s Voodoo.
