Diggy Simmons Album Details

Diggy Simmons' debut album has been kept under wraps for months, but now the First Son of Hip Hop's album details are beginning to emerge.Unexpected Arrival is due in stores March 20th, and Atlantic A&R Shawn Barron shared his enthusiasm for the project.

“I signed Diggy and I think that he’s going to surprise a lot of people,” Shawn Barron told AllHipHop. “Diggy [has] found a sound with the project with producer D’Mile, that I think will shock the world. He needed a new sound that nobody had.”

The son of Run-D.M.C. legend Rev. Run and the nephew of Def Jam founder Russell Simmons, Diggy's musical career has been under scrutiny since he emerged in 2009.
