LANA DEL REY | NATIONAL ANTHEM FT. A$AP ROCKY (FILM)

Rick Ross/Drake Album May Still Happen

Rick Ross spoke about the probability of he and Young Money star Drake ever recording a joint album together. The two had previously mentioned wanting to release a collaborative project, tentatively-titled Y.O.L.O. (You Only Live Once), but he says that several factors contributed to it never materializing.
"It's still a huge possibility. Me and the homey stay in contact all the time and we record often," Ross told MTV's "RapFlix." "So it's just making that decision and moving forward with it. I was just focusing on Self Made Vol. 2[and] finishing my album God Forgives, I Don't, which will be in stores July 31."

A$AP Rocky Rants Over Album Leak

A$AP Rocky exploded on Twitter after his song with Lana Del Rey, "Ridin'," leaked online. The rapper blasted production The KickDrums for the track surfacing on the Web, and Rocky claims that the track that is floating around features unfinished lyrics.
"THAT RIDIN SONG WITH ME N LANA IZ NOT OFFICAL, ITS NOT MY REAL LYRICS , THAT WAZ A REFERENCE , THE KICK DRUMS CAN SUCK MY D*CK!!!!" Rocky tweeted. "MY BARZ ARE WACK AF ON THAT SONG BRUH, THAT WAZ A FREESTYLE REFERENCE AND THEY KNOW DAT, F*CK THE KICK DRUMS!!!"
"I CARE ABOUT MY CRAFT TOO MUCH TO GIVE THE PPL GARBAGE LIKE THAT, SMH," he continued.
"We didn't leak that "Ridin'" track. I was as surprised to see it on the web as everyone else," was the response tweeted from the KickDrums Twitter account. "Whole thing is weird to me. Song just pops up outta nowhere & theres an official lookin cover and sh*t. call my manager like 'what is this?'"

Birdman Gives DJ Khaled His Due

Cash Money head Bryan "Birdman" Williams sang the praises of Miami producer DJ Khaled after Khaled dropped the single and artwork for his new track “I Wish You Would.” The song features Rick Ross and Kanye West, and Birdman gave Khaled props for the Hit Boy-produced track.
Cash Money distributes Khaled's We the Best imprint.
“This is another example of DJ Khaled’s exceptional talent,” commented Williams. “I have always believed in him as an executive and as an artist. We look forward to hearing this song everywhere this summer.”

Nicki Minaj Talks About Kissing Nas

Nicki Minaj opened to radio host Tim Westwood about her romantic scenes with fellow Queens-born rapper Nas in her recent video for the single "Right By My Side." Minaj revealed just how much the moment meant to her and why she was happy the chemistry between she and her co-star resonated onscreen.
"But you know what, Tim, it worked, Tim," Minaj told Westwood. "It was like, hip-hop, it was just, errrrrrrr. Yes. Queens. Royalty. Yeah, I was like, 'What!? Yeah!' You know what it was though? Outside of the kiss, it just had so much chemistry. It seemed like a real relationship, like just a real hood relationship and I wanted to portray that. I wanted the song to feel like your around the way relationship because there's so much love in that. So much passion is there."

Jennifer Hudson Talks Motherhood

Jennifer Hudson recently spoke about motherhood while discussing her song "Brahms Lullaby" which was recorded for Pampers. The Oscar-winner revealed that being a mother herself helped motivate her to record the tune.
"I'm sure other moms will get that, that bond, that specialness, whether you sing or not, that you can hum to your child, that moment," she said. "When my baby was first born, like now I can't sleep without him. When I'm away from him, I can't sleep because he's not here. So when he was a baby in the middle of the night, nobody's getting up but mom. I don't care if you have a nanny or not, only mom is getting up in the middle of the night. But those are the moments I cherish the most, and that to me is what "Lullaby" gives, that moment."

Oprah Hanging With the Kardashians

Oprah Winfrey is making an appearance on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." The talk show host reportedly had a good time hanging out with the most controversial family in entertainment recently and agreed to pop up on their hit reality show.
"She and Khloe [Kardashian Odom] especially hit it off. Khloe had her dying laughing," a source tells Us Weekly. "It meant so much because she loves Oprah!"
"Oprah signed the release!" the source added.
During her interview with family superstar Kim Kardashian, she got Kimmy to speak frankly about her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.
"I've obviously made plenty of mistakes in my lifetime, but I'm not the type to sit and beat myself up over it," Kim said. "If a real lesson was learned, I'm so okay with having experienced that."
"That is so perfect I could weep," Oprah replied.

Rhymefest Blasts Chief Keef

Rhymefest posted a fiery message on his blog taking aim at fellow Chicago rapper Chief Keef and the music industry as a whole. Fest blasted the young rhymer for perpetuating an image that negatively affects Black youth in Chicago and feeds into stereotypes.
"Chief Keef is a "Bomb", he represents the senseless savagery that white people see when the news speaks of Chicago violence. A Bomb has no responsibility or blame, it does what it was created to do; DESTROY! Notice, no one is talking about the real culprits, the Bomb maker or the pilot who is deploying this deadly force (Labels, Radio Stations). Its easier to blame the bomb. Bombs are not chosen for their individual talents, they are tools used for collateral damage. To think of the persona of Chief Keef as a person would be the first mistake, he will more then likely come and go without us knowing much of anything about his personal pains, struggles, great loves and ambitions beyond rap. He is a spokesman for the Prison Industrial Complex. Every corporation is expected to grow at least 4% each quarter, many prisons are privately owned with stock being traded on the open market. If these corporations were to do commercials, jingles and promotions who would they hire? You got it, most of the main stream rappers we salivate over like Rick Ross the former correctional officer turned Drug Lord Boss rapper. Waka Flocka Flame gang bang "GO HARD IN THE PAINT" and Chief Keef the newest lottery pick in the "Get paid to destroy young minds, like we destroyed yours" Sweepstakes."
"Many people will say 'Chief Keef is a young black man making money who wouldn't have had any other opportunity, why isn't this a good thing?". Which brings us back to the question, who is bank rolling this operation and why? This could only be described as an opportunity for this young man if he was receiving artist development, responsible mentorship and counseling for his obvious trauma. By the way, Major Record labels always put million dollar life insurance policies on artist of this nature so that they get paid one way or the other. My suggestion to the rest of us who would love to see the mushroom cloud from this explosion, BE CAUTIOUS! The affects from this type of Bomb can last for centuries. Lets stop giving our intellectual power resources and admiration to destructive forces while ignoring and starving out the good that is being done, sung and rapped about by artist like Killer Mike, Lupe Fiasco, RhymeFest, Dead Prez, Brother ALI, Maimouna Yusef, Invincible, Jean Grey, Mikkey Halsted etc."

T.I.'s Recorded 125 Songs

T.I. spoke to Hot 107.9's DJ Sense about recording his highly-anticipated upcoming album Trouble Man. The Atlanta rapper made a much talked-about appearance at Birthday Bash in Atlanta last week, and he says that he's working through a massive backlog of songs--more than one hundred songs, in fact.
“Man, we coming in September, but we still cooking, though. I still got something else up my sleeve coming real soon,” Tip said. “I got 125 records, man."
“I’m sitting on it," he added.
Trouble Man is expected to be released September 4th.

Quincy Jones Criticizes Diddy

Legendary music producer Quincy Jones had some critical words for hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs during the Spotify Stories Behind the Music event held at the Andaz Hotel in Hollywood, CA. this week. He spoke to host Bruno Mars about his history and beginnings in the music industry before the 79-year old Jones addressed Combs.
"[He] couldn't recognize a b flat if it hit him," Jones reportedly said. "P. Diddy has a doctorate in marketing, he's got clothes companies, and Ciroc vodka."
Jones later said that he wasn't trying to tear down Combs.
"No controversy, no diss. I have nothing but love and respect for Diddy and all that he has achieved as an artist and an executive," Jones clarified via statement. "Always have and always will."

Lamborghini Loves Kanye Record

Kanye and G.O.O.D. Music's track "Mercy" just hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart's Top 20 and the Lamborghini brand seems to love the name-dropping prevalent throughout the track. A rep for the company revealed that, while they don't necessarily expect any boost in sales due to the brand being mentioned constantly in the song, Lamborghini loves the notoriety.
"Most owners tell us they've had a lifelong love affair with the brand before they actually purchased their Lamborghini," says the rep. "This is another example of the use of a Lamborghini in various art forms. Communicating success, individuality and creativity are hallmarks of the brand."
"We appreciate the publicity," the spokesperson says. "But more importantly, we hope Kanye has the opportunity to fully experience the exhilarating performance and technical innovations found in all Lamborghinis."

MMG - Power Circle ft. Kendrick Lamar (Official Video)

MempHitz Denies Beating K. Michelle

Producer MempHitz spoke at length with TT Torres about his history with "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star K. Michelle and denied her accusations that he abused her.
"I listen to music every day. We in Memphis. This guy, I don’t know him, people came to me and said, ‘this is the OG, he has something he wants you to hear’. I said, ‘Fine’. He got a girl. She singing. I’m sitting listening to the girl in the car, and [K. Michelle] says, ‘Oh hell naw! Cut that sh-t off. Ain’t no b-tch getting signed to this label. I’m the only b-tch on this label.’ I’m apologizing to people and I just got tired of apologizing to people."
"This is the day I broke up with her in the hotel. I get back to the room. I was like “Yo for real? That was the last night.” This is after multiple times of embarrassing me in front of people, relationships I’ve made over the years from being an intern nobody knows in New York on my own from Memphis [type] relationships. My whole livelihood. I’m taking her places thinking, you’re gonna do what I told you to do when we were making the plan, just sing. Just sing! This particular day, after this situation happened, I go up to the room where she’s at [...]My friends take her back to the room so I can finish having this meeting with the guy after I had to apologize severely for what just happened. I get up to the room and I’m like, “Yo for real that is the last time you embarrass me, I’m done!” That ain’t my swag, that ain’t who I am."
"All of a sudden, I see it for the first time: the Tasmanian Devil, start swinging, throwing stuff at me. I’m like “What the f— is going on?” I’m trying to get to the door, blocking punches, I’m trying to explain to the housekeeping ladies, “Y’all call somebody,” ’cause she’s throwing stuff out the window. [...] I grabbed her, grabbed her arm, I’m tired of taking a thousand swinging punches from a girl. Yes I grabbed her and held her arm down from hitting my a– again, and she was screaming and screaming. I covered her mouth because she was screaming so loud, people were knocking on the ceiling, I was like “Stop, what are you doing? Do you see yourself? Are you crazy?’"
"After the whole police thing, I just stopped talking to K. Michelle. I told her in front of the police, ‘I have never been in the same room with a female and the police at the same time, and this will be my last. I don’t get down like that’."
She was abused before, it just wasn’t me. I can’t be your muse anymore. You want to argue with me so you can go write a hit. You want to defame my character so you can get fans and write a hit. I can’t lay down for that one."

Pint-sized pop star Willow Smith has developed a reputation for being outside-the-box. But, due to her age, her parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have come under criticism for letting their little girl 'run wild.'
The latest controversy erupted after Willow tweeted an Instagram pic of herself with a tongue ring. The blogosphere went nuts, but Willow says every needs to just relax.
"It's fake... Sorry," she said in a caption posted with the image.

Tomorrow Alife Presents MMG SelfMade2 Official Pop-Up Shop & Artist Signing

Kelis Addresses Album Cover

Nas raised more than a few eyebrows when he revealed that the cover of his upcoming albumLife Is Good featured him sitting with the wedding dress of his ex-wife, R&B star Kelis, draped across his lap. Now, Kelis is offering her response to the controversial image.
"My feelings about it are not really relevant, but you know at the end of the day Nas is an artist," she told the NME. "And for whatever it's worth he's one of the greatest, and especially for what it is he does. So for me, I feel like especially for someone in hip-hop to kind of be genuine and honest, whatever the honesty is about, I think it's awesome. So my feelings about it aren't really necessarily valid, it's just the fact that as an artist I can respect that he wears his feelings on his sleeve."

King of Diamonds Getting A Reality Show?

Here's some good news--or terrible news--depending on your perspective.
There are talks that the infamous King of Diamonds strip club in Miami could be the subject of yet another drama-filed, not-at-all-realistic 'reality' show. The timing couldn't be better--with the Miami Heat landing the NBA championship this year.
It is unclear which of the sexy ladies will be appearing on the show and whether or not the show will be ready for the upcoming fall season. But this may be the first reality show that guys will watch more than their girlfriends.

Jay Electronica Calls Out Billionaire

Jay Electronica made international headlines last month when British billionaire BJ Goldsmith claimed that the celebrated rhymer was in the midst of a heated affair with his wife, Kate, and was the reason for their split. Electronica fired verbal shots at the billionaire via Twitter, letting him know to stop with the allegations.
"@BJGoldsmith ben you need to stop going to the press w these bullsh*t stories. Dont be a f*cking hypocrite. I'll come see you," Elec tweeted. "@BJGoldsmith you wanna go public, i'll go public and you aint gonna like it. stop acting like a b*tch."
According to reports, Goldsmith doesn't plan to respond.

Flo Rida Back With Melyssa Ford?

Rapper Flo Rida was spotted at Heathrow Airport in London--with his ex-boo thang, Melyssa Ford. The two split way back in 2008, but it looks like they may be rekindling their romance.
There was some bad-blood between the two for a while and Flo dated R&B singer Brandy briefly.
Who says hip hop doesn't believe in second chances?
There are rumors that Flo and Mel are madly in love again and she's been traveling all over the globe with him.

Jimmy Henchman Charged With Murder

James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond was found guilty of spearheading a drug ring earlier this month, and the former music manager is now being charged with arranging the murder of an associate of superstar rapper 50 Cent.
The indictment was announced on Friday (June 22nd), and Rosemond is being charged with conspiring with five other men to kill Lowell Fletcher in 2009. Fletcher's murder was allegedly retalitaion for an assault by 50 Cent and Tony Yayo on Rosemond's son.
"This has not been a good month for Jimmy the Henchman," Raymond W. Kelly, the New York police commissioner, said in a statement.

Lil Wayne Prepping Album

Lil Wayne is hard at work on his follow-up to Tha Carter IV. The Young Money head honcho revealed in an interview with MTV News that he is taking his time on the project, after what he felt was a rushed release the last time out.
"I Am Not A Human Being II, that's what I'm workin' on right now, actually I'm finished," he explained. "The difference between [this] album and the lastI Am Not a Human Being would be the music wasn't rushed."
"Last time the music was rushed because I had to take that eight-month vacation on that island so we had rushed the music, but this time we didn't rush the music," he added.

LL Cool J Recording New Album

LL Cool J is stepping into the technology arena with the My Connect Studio, which gives musicians the opportunity to record music with each other from entirely different locations. LL discussed the 'virtual studio' in a recent press conference and revealed that he's using the technology to record his fourteenth studio album.
"[Producers] e-mail me the track, I'm e-mailing vocals - they don't like something, I'm sending it back. We're going back and forth and doing this dance," he explained. "A lot of music is being created that way right now. What I wanted to do is be able to create music in real-time...you may get with a kid from London, you may get with a kid from Paris simply because you went on the site and visited the lobby and met somebody and went into a session and started creating. So this is the next level of music creation."
“I’m going to be doing a little bit of the album on the [My Connect Studio], make sure that it is official,” he said. “And as a matter of fact I started on my album too. It’s authentic Hip Hop, it’s the business...it’s 2012, so it doesn't sound like it would sound if it were 10 years ago or 20 years ago, but it’s definitely official. It’s a breath of fresh air. It doesn't sound like anything that’s out right now. I think it’s crazy. It’s the business. It’s real.”

Iggy Azalea Explains Label Issues

Iggy Azalea's label situation has been confusing for many of her fans and the media. While many thought initially that she was signed to Interscope Records, it was later revealed that she was with T.I.'s Grand Hustle label. Then Tip declared her a 'free agent,' which seemed to further confound everyone. Now, Iggy is taking the time to explain her label issues.
"I'm with Grand Hustle and I can distribute my album through whatever major I'd like to when I'm ready to do that, and I guess that's what Tip meant when he said I'm a free agent," she said. "People misconstrued that and thought it meant that I was not with Grand Hustle. I don't have a distribution deal, so I'm free to sign with whatever major in conjunction with Grand Hustle, which is what was originally going to be happening with me, Grand Hustle and Interscope, and we didn't agree on [a specific deal] but when I'm ready I can."
"We had an agreement [with Interscope], and Tip and Grand Hustle weren't a part of it, and when they came along and we tried to restructure things differently, pieces of the pie get cut up differently and sometimes, people aren't happy with their piece of the pie," she continued. "So it was a little bit of that and it was a little bit of feeling a little bit misunderstood by the type of artist I'd like to be and the type of artist they perhaps had in mind for me."

Lil Kim Did Not Diss Drake

Lil Kim's reps are denying reports that the Queen Bee dissed Drizzy Drake during an interview with the Phoenix Times earlier this week. The initial story claimed that Lil Kim questioned Drake's manhood in the wake of his now-infamous bottle-throwing brawl in New York City last week.
"Drake's a bottom - y'all know what I mean when I say that," Kim allegedly said. "What I know about Drake is he is b*tch-made. Meaning he's an instigator, and a p*ssy. He had no issue stepping to Lil Kim, I'm like five feet tall. But he didn't try stepping to Chris, a man, because he's simply a coward."
Kim's publicist is saying that the story is 100% fraudulent.
"As it pertains to the story that was allegedly posted by the Phoenix Times, I would like to inform fans, media, and the general public, that the fictitious editorial is just that," says her publicist. "My client did not participate in any interview with the Phoenix Times or anyone else for that matter. As Kim's publicist, I oversee all media matters and have never arranged anything with the Phoenix Times. Please disregard this nonsense and any other foolishness."

Kim Kardashian's Bond With Kanye

A lot of you cynics out there scoffed at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's seemingly made-for-gossip-blogs relationship when it was revealed several months ago, but in a recent interview, Kimmy K shared just how deep their bond is and how far back it stretches.
"We met maybe almost a decade ago, I've known him for a really long time, we've been friends for like six or seven years, so it's very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you that respects you, understands, has gone through similar things," Kim said.
"I can really relate to his mother passing, he can really relate to my father passing," she added. "I mean, there's so many similarities in our life that I feel like I'm at a really happy, good space."

K. Michelle Vs. MempHitz

After R&B singer K. Michelle, on the debut episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," alluded to the 'love of her life' screwing her out of her record deal and abusing her, almost anyone with any knowledge of her history figured she was speaking about her former boyfriend and producer, MempHitz. So did he, apparently, because he took time out from celebrating his one-year anniversary in Paris with his wife Toya Wright to slam K. Michelle via Twitter.
"As I was installing the Teeth, T***ies & Ass you're Flaunting, I forgot to tell you about the Growing Nose I threw in Pinocchio," he tweeted. "Lol @kmichelle. I made you. - Mr. Gepetto."
But for those who expected K. Michelle to get all 'Memphis' on her ex, she took the high road and kept things classy.
"A persons true colors will always show," K. Michelle tweeted shortly thereafter. "Never fight a battle that God already won for u. I'm still standing."

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" Sparks Petition

It looks "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" has caused a stir among some folks. An online petition has surfaced calling out VH1 for the controversial half soap/half reality show.
"After we made a ruckus about Basketball Wives, sponsors began to pull ads. Well, it’s that time again, folks!
While we should respect the perceptions and experiences of the men and women featured on “reality” television shows, networks are airing stories that could be very helpful for people to hear, but they’re telling these stories in EXTREMELY dangerous ways.
We all know premium digital crack rock is ‘slanged’ in digital hoods other than VH1. We also know the problem is not just TV–it’s a big, mean, social monster that we’ve gotta shoot down one non-violent bullet at a time. Nevertheless, somebody’s gotta be the face of this lovely movement. And since VH1 has chosen to give us yet another beautifully-blinged jewel of commercial exploitation (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta), they might as well be the face of change. By the way, shout out to all African Americans who received Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta as their Juneteenth gift! You won and lost at the same time!
As we work toward national- and local-level change, let’s tell VH1 and their sponsors (again) why people from a broad range of backgrounds will NOT stand for the exploitation of the lived experiences of people who may not even know they’re being exploited. This isn’t a “Black or White” thing, this is a HUMAN thing…and we should all understand.
P.S. That “turn of the TV/your kids’ TV if you don’t want to watch” argument doesn’t work here, VH1. A good number of the kids who are most at risk don’t have the luxury of living with parents who can just “turn off the TV”. Why? Because their parents are out working multiple jobs (thanks to this lovely thing called poverty); one or both parents are on drugs, dead, or in jail; or they’re raised by ill grandparents, relatives who aren’t that interested in their future, or foster parents who abuse them and only foster to collect a check."

Diamond Broke Lil Scrappy's Heart

Lil Scrappy finally opened up about his breakup with fellow Atlanta rap star Diamond. The two split before the gossip hounds got wind of it, and Diamond moved on to yet another Atlanta rapper, Soulja Boy. But Scrappy says he took their breakup hard.
"When that Diamond situation happened, it just taught me a real valuable lesson, 'cause I know, as I can see, I'm not a good judge of character," he said during an appearance on "RapFix Live."
"I ain't never had my little heart broken before, but now that it happened, I don't think it would happen for a long time," he said. "But the good side about that is, you don't put nobody before God, don't ever put nobody before God, and I think I did a little bit of that trying to help her."

VANESSA VEASLEY X ACE OF LA X BLKDMNDS “TAKE NOTES”

Vanessa Veasley, Ace of LA, and BLKDMNDS team up to bring you the first girl vs. kicks shoot staring the illusive Yeezy 2 titled "Take Notes".
The Kanye West x Nike Air Yeezy 2 is the second installment of Nike's collaboration with Kanye West; three years after the original Air Yeezy marked the sneaker brand's first collaboration with a non-athlete. Love him or hate him, West sparked a global frenzy with this release. (& Yes, those are his design notes pictured)
Choosing Vanessa Veasley for this image was a no brainer as she has quickly become known for being the urban model with the most product collabs with skate, streetwear, & counter-culture lifestyle brands. She has also become a respected force behind the camera as well, art directing & consulting for budding and established brands.
Personally, Vanessa Veasley also looks up to Kanye West. "I've worked with him twice in my video vixen days ("Wouldn't Get Far" & "Amazing") & both times he had a polite yet commanding energy. I love that in a time when so many people love to tell others to "stay in their lane", he never has! It inspires me, respectively, not to stay in mine. To do me & expend as much creative energy I can in as many areas as my heart desires."

Meek Mill - Dream Chasers Tour

T.I. Talks About "Trouble Man"

T.I. shared his enthusiasm for his upcoming Trouble Man album, due to hit stores in September. The Atlanta hip hop star told MTV News that he's ready start promoting the project.
"You know, I'm really just getting warmed up, man," he told MTV News. "I got a lot of ammunition; I'm about to start shootin'. I'm just getting warmed up, just look forward to it."
Several singles have been released over the past few months, but it is unclear if "I'm Flexin'" or "Hear Ye, Hear Ye" will make the album.

Lauren London Joining "The Game?"

With stars Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall leaving "The Game," there is space to be filled on BET's most popular scripted series. And word on the street is that actress (and Lil Wayne baby mama) Lauren London could be the woman to fill it. She's recently appeared inMadea's Big Happy Family and "Single Ladies."
London will reportedly be playing a character named Kiera, described as a former child star who has a job on a popular sitcom. No word on who else will be joining Hosea Chanchez, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Barry Floyd and Brandy next season.

Kandi Burruss Defends Sex Toys

Kandi Burruss has become as well-known for her line of sex toys as she is for being a famous singer/songwriter and for being one of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta." In a recent interview with fellow Bravo 'Housewife' Bethenny Frenkel on Frenkel's new talk show, Burruss dismissed the sex toy stigma in the Black community.
"Well the crazy thing is I didn’t try to make it a race issue," she said. "I think because I’m black, obviously, I had alot of people come up to me and say “Did you realize you’re the face of black women being more liberated and talking about sex,” and I didn’t realize that until now. In our community, that black community, it is very hush hush to talk about sex. Everything is hush hush, like you can’t talk about that."
"Black men a lot of times are not down with that at all because it’s this whole thing of ‘Black men are supposed to be swinging,’ which a lot of them are not!" she shared. "But they feel like ‘You don’t need that, I’m handling things around here.’ A lot of times men are pretty much guaranteed to get the 'AHHHHH' moment. We don’t always get the 'AHHHHH' moment every single time. So if we don’t get that every single time, why can’t we get a little bit of extra…?"

New Video: Rick Ross x Usher “Touch’N You”

50 Cent Speaks On Brawl

Since seemingly everyone in entertainment has an opinion on the brawl that erupted last week between Drake and Chris Brown, its only fitting that 50 Cent added his two cents to the conversation. The hip hop superstar said that he may not have the details, but he didn't expect that kind of thing to go down.
"I was surprised," admitted 50. "I didn't know what happened. When you see the photos, you're like 'Oh, somebody started bumpin'.'"
"I thought someone hit someone with a bottle. And [instead,] they're throwing it like eh [throwing motion]! That's not...that's not even...I don't know what it even stems from. Is it how you feel about the person? They have in common a connection through [Rihanna]," he added. "Is it disrespect [about] who you are? Or is it about the actual girl? For me, I've been in situations where I've seen that the two lead reasons why you get laid out is over the money, or something to do with the girl."
"It's odd. I didn't really see them being involved in that kind of [thing]," said 50. "When [Drake] says something that was ill...it was always about something that consisted within relationships."
"Chris finna be Rick James out this motherf**ker."

Azealia Banks Hit Rock Bottom

Azealia Banks is cocky as you-know-what. But the hip hop upstart says that before recording her breakout single "212," she was in a downward spiral professionally and personally. Which is why she decided to come out swinging.
“Nobody was listening to my music. I had been dropped from [the English record label] XL," she says. "My manager dropped me. My boyfriend left me. I was starting to accept that my career was never gonna happen. So the song was just me, like, ‘F**k y’all. Y’all not gonna help me? I’m gonna get it myself.’”
Banks went on to become a YouTube sensation and then inked a deal with Interscope. Guess she got the last laugh.
