Trey Songz - Hail Mary Ft. Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne (Official Video)
Im watching the new Trey Songz “Hail Mary” video and who do I see? Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez. All I can do is laugh, because Stevie J poses and does that face that is all over instagram, and tells the girls “I do not want to send you to the strip club … now tell Daddy you love me … and by the way, you look nice tonight”. Nice way to capitalize off Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Trey. Trey Songz new album Chapter V is in stores today.

Apple becomes most valuable publicly-traded company of all time
Apple’s stock has taken down several major milestones in the past couple of days. Last Thursday, AAPL closed at an all-time high of $636.34 per share, and it has since surpassed its all-time high of $644.
Today, the stock is trading at a staggering $665. And given the fact that it has 937.41 million shares outstanding, that gives it a market cap of $623.05 billion — the highest ever for a publicly-traded company…
Apple surpassed the record for highest market cap today, a title held by Microsoft since late 1999.
MacRumors does the math:
“Microsoft’s market capitalization peaked on December 30, 1999, reaching an intraday high of $119.94 per share. With Microsoft having documented 5,160,024,593 outstanding shares as of October 31, 1999 in its quarterly earnings report, the company would have had a market capitalization of $618.89 billion on December 30.”
The site goes on to point out that if adjusting for inflation, Microsoft still retains the title by a hefty margin. And there are a few other technical caveats. But on paper, by the numbers, Tim Cook’s team takes the cake.
Apple’s recent surge in popularity with investors can be attributed to a couple of factors. For one, the company just handed out its first dividend in the last 15 years. And it has an extremely powerful 6-month forecast.
Next month, Apple is expected to unveil several new products, including an all-new iPhone, a smaller tablet, and a line of revamped iPod products. Needless to say, analysts are expecting a record-breaking holiday quarter.
iPad expected to push HP into largest quarterly loss
Could HP become the Nokia of PCs? Although the largest PC seller in the US, HP is expected to announce record-breaking quarterly losses later this week. As Nokia never could adapt to a market now dominated by smartphones, HP foresees nearly $9 billion in losses – much from the runaway adoption of Apple’s iPad.
On word that PC sales in the US were down 12.7 percent during the second quarter, HP is expected to loose between $8.5 and $8.9 billion in stock value, according to theAssociated Press. Meanwhile, record iPad sales are helping Apple become the world’smost valuable company…
Indeed, if iPad sales were counted alongside computer purchases, the tablet would account for 19.4 percent of all PCs shipped, analyst firm Canalys announced. By comparison, HP would drop to No. 2, as computer sales fell 11.3 percent for a 12.5 percent piece of all PC shipments.
You may remember HP, like so many other firms, took a run at competing against the iPad. When the company bought failing Palm, the key spoil from that takeover was the webOS, which HP quickly used for its TouchPad. The TouchPad became the Edsel of iPad-killers, quickly crashing and burning in bargain basement sales.
However, that experience may not have taught HP any lessons. Reportedly, HP is mulling over whether to create a new tablet, this one based on Android. In the meantime, HP along with other PC makers, await the Oct. 26 release of Windows 8, which might allow the PC to limp along for a few more years.

Sprint to offer $400 in store credit to new customers
Sprint must really, really want you to become a subscriber, because on the heels of its$50 iPhone discount and $100 American Express Reward card offer, another promotion has been spotted.
According to a new report, the country’s #3 carrier will soon start offering $400 of in-store credit to new customers if they switch their service over to Sprint and sign a two-year contract…
PhoneArena has the scoop:
“For activating three or more lines on an Everything Data Share or Simply Everything Data plan, Sprint will give you $400 of in-store credit that can be used towards the purchase of “qualifying devices”, such as new phones. Your signature under a 2-year contract is required too, and the lines must be active for at least 60 days.”
New customers must be porting their lines over from a non-Sprint affiliated carrier (which means Boost and Virgin Mobile customers are out) to qualify for the offer, and the credit must be used in full at the time of purchase.
The offer begins this weekend, on August 19th, and will run through September 15th. So if you’re looking to jump on Sprint’s unlimited data plans, or score some new iPhonesnext month, this might be worth looking into.
What do you think, would you switch to Sprint for $400?

Beanie Sigel Disputes Memphis Bleek Comments
Despite rapper Memphis Bleek's claims in a recent interview that he had reached out to his former Roc-A-Fella Records labelmate Beanie Sigel, Beans is claiming that he hasn't heard from Bleek at all. Sigel is preparing to enter prison for the next eighteen months, and says that Bleek has not uttered a word to him.
"Memphis Bleek ain't never reach out to me or try to reach out to me," Sigel told XXL. "I brought Memphis Bleek to my neighborhood. Memphis Bleek been to my mother's house. He ate from my mother's food. So, if he wanted to reach out to me, I ain't a hard person to find. I ain't a hard person to find at all. But, I don't have no gripe with Bleek. There's no gripe with Bleek. That's like my brother. We came into the game together. We grew up together in the music business. I don't have no gripe with him."

Drake & Chris Brown Sued For $16 Million
The fallout from the now-infamous Drake/Chris Brown fight in New York City back in June has yet to completely die. Both artists are now being sued for $16 million over the fight at W.i.P. The suit was filed by Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.
The suit claims that that Drake and Brown "shared a grudge against [each] other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman [Rihanna]," which led them to "fight violently with each other."
"Each arrived with his own small army of bodyguards [and] 'security' personnel...consisting of at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat," it says. "Their two posses had at each other, throwing highball glasses laden with alcohol, shattering the handles of bottles of spirits to use as makeshift knives, and even throwing full bottles at each other." Entertainment Enterprises is also suing W.i.P. and its affiliate club Greenhouse for $4 million, as the incident negated a licensing deal that the firm and nightclub had negotiated prior to the fight.

Lil Wayne's Career Focus Is Changing
Lil Wayne's well-documented love for skateboarding continues to dominate his life. Reiterating statements he made earlier this year, Wayne spoke about his passion for boarding and said that he takes it more seriously than ever.
"You can ask anyone around here," said Wayne in the latest episode of Mountain Dew's "DEWeezy Stories" web series. "Does Wayne let anyone come to skate with him? They'll tell you 'No.'"
"I don't know. It's just something about conquering the whole idea of something difficult as riding a skateboard," he said. "That's what so great about skating to me. It's about challenge. It's about a physical challenge and mental. It's about a challenge in front of you that you actually say to yourself, 'This can't be done. It can't be done by me.'" "I really found a second love," he added. "And music is in trouble. Because I'm in love with this skateboarding sh*t."

Swizz Beatz Revisits His Beginnings
Swizz Beatz revealed that his uncles and LOX member Sheek Louch convinced him to begin producing as a teen; he initially saw himself solely as a DJ. In a recent interview, he talked about those beginnings in the late 80s/early 90s.
"I got my start with Ruff Ryders in ’91ish, ‘92ish – nah, ’88. That’s when Ruff Ryders first started," he said. "My uncle started it, and my Uncle B came along...I was DMX’s DJ for a long time. I didn’t even care about being a producer. I didn’t have no role models as producers back then because to me, it was all about the DJs. Producers weren’t in the forefront at that time. But I was a fan of DJs that were producing, like DJ Premier, like rest in peace Scott La Rock, Marley Marl…I was fans of those guys. Diamond D and them, that whole crew. But I ain’t know they were producers."
"I got into producing when my uncles and them, and I remember Sheek Louch also, I used to make mixtapes and I used to make my intros to my mixtapes so people could rap on it," he continued. "I didn’t know that was producing. I thought it was just making the intro for your mixtape. I wasn’t familiar with that word ‘producing.’ They was like take all of those words and all that stuff out, and I did that. They was like, that beat is knocking. Make another one of those. And my uncle was like, you should produce. I was like, produce? He said what you doing is producing. At this time, he was working with Irv Gotti, Chad Elliott, he had bought them all equipment and they was in the studio and they was supposed to teach me. They would teach me like this. That’s how you make the beat. Real fast. I had to teach myself because they was so busy doing they thing, and I was glad I was able to teach myself."

"Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada issued a statement addressing the controversy surrounding the domestic violence incident involving she and her husband, NFL star Chad Johnson, who was arrested and subsequently cut from the Miami Dolphins.
"It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday," she said via statement. "I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I'm grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time."
The couple's VH1 reality show "Ev & Chad" had also been abruptly canceled due to the incident.

Beanie Sigel Discusses Prison, Jay-Z
In a few weeks, rapper Beanie Sigel will begin a two-year prison sentence for failure to pay his taxes. Talking to XXL, Beanie discussed his state of mind heading back into jail and how he plans on changing his life once he's released in 2014.
"I’m done [with prison]. It’s over!" he said. "In that environment, this outside world…you gotta hang all that up. When I go in there, I won’t be Beanie Sigel. I’ll be 57613-066. That’s who I’ll be. I won’t be Beanie Sigel. I’m not gonna sit in my cell and write rhymes everyday. That’s a real thing inside. There’s people inside who ain’t ever coming out of those buildings. I would talk to them and do my best to be a window for some of ’em who are never gonna make it outta there. We all have the same commissary, we all have the same amount of money on our books, we all gonna eat the same food and nobody cell gonna look different. I’m gonna be a number like everybody else."
He also downplayed any chance of a reconciliation with Jay-Z; but revealed that he holds no animosity towards his former mentor.
"There’s no need for that conversation anymore [with Jay-Z]...it’s been too long," he said. "That’s all I ever wanted. Jay-Z don’t owe me a dime. What me and Jay had or what I thought we had was a brothership that was beyond music and business. A brothership that I trusted and that I’d put my life in harm’s way for ‘this thing of ours, this La Familia.’ I thought it was bigger than music, I thought it was bigger than business, but as I got older and thought about it…that’s all it was, it was business. So, the conversation is for what? I kind of understand…Jay was growing, he’s in a different space, he was rubbing shoulders with different people and when you get around certain people and you get into a certain bracket, sometimes you got to disassociate yourselves with the hoodlums...at one point, I thought this rap sh*t ruined me. I got in more trouble being Beanie Sigel than when I was just Mac."
