J. Lo Talks About Her Breakup

J. Lo Talks About Her Breakup
Jennifer Lopez is breaking her silence regarding her divorce from her husband of seven years, Marc Anthony. J. Lo's romantic failures are well-documented, but the diva says sometimes a person just has to do what's best for them.
"I'm a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love," Lopez explains, describing the passage that has brought her to her current state of mind. "It's not that I didn't love myself before. Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself--if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now."

"[Kelly] is still my ‘motivation,'" Luckett told the crowd. "Each of ya’ll go and get four copies of her album and get Beyonce’s album too. Stop hating on that girl. You know she is one of the most talented girls on the face of this earth. Both them h*es work!"
"Y’all support them, it is no beef, no hate between us," she added. "We are grown heffas, that was ten years ago. Y’all leave that alone and let us work."

Drake's Skills Have Improved

Drake's Skills Have Improved
Drake's latest single "Headlines" is making noise, but the Young Money rapper says the song is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of quality. Drake says the rest of his upcomingTake Care album will be his best work yet. And his rhymes are stronger this time around.
"By no means is it the best song on my album, it's really just the song for this moment, right now," Drake said about his "Headlines" single. "This is really, in my opinion, my best project...There's a lot of songs on it. Although people encourage me like, 'Oh, do 11, 12 songs,' I think there's going to be probably 18 songs on it. It's very reminiscent of 'So Far Gone' but the production has stepped up like 10 notches. I feel like I've gotten better at rapping, so I'm really excited for people to hear the bars."

Jay-Z & Kanye Tension?

Jay-Z & Kanye Tension?
Jay-Z and Kanye West may not be bosom buddies, after all. Rumors are swirling that, days before Watch the Throne hits stores, the superstar rappers' egos are beginning to clash. What could drive a wedge between hip hop's Batman & Robin? You guessed it--money.
"Jay-Z can't deal with Kanye," an insider told Page Six. "Jay is a stone-cold businessman. He wants to recoup all of his money from Live Nation. But Kanye wants to upstage rock stars with a blowout show. He doesn't care about costs. He has a lot less to gain from the shows."
Jay-Z downplayed any animosity between the duo.
"Kanye is a genius. I kind of want to spend a gazillion dollars,” he said. “I think they got it backwards, but it’s all good. I made it. I don’t really... I know that we doing something right now. When I woke up to all of that, I was like, oh yeah, we must be really hot right now. This is really happening. August 8th.”
“Yes, we get on each other’s nerves. But that’s part of pushing each other," Jay added. "We push each other. The people that have a problem with Kanye or myself are people who are complacent in life. People don’t like to be pushed. It’s like annoying. It’s a thing when people are pushing you to be greater, and we push each other to be greater. So of course there are times when we’re in the studio and we’re yelling, but that’s about it. I would never disrespect that man. I have so much respect for him.”

Cassie Discusses Her Style

Cassie Discusses Her Style
Cassie has been honing her style for years. Since she's not distracted by petty things like her thriving musical career, the singer took the time to discuss her fashion sense and its influence on her younger fans.
"[My style] is cool, fun, and me," Cassie explained in a recent interview. "I love Kate Moss, style wise. I love shopping. I love to mix it up. I love Balmain, Givemchy, but then, I can go crazy at Joyrich in LA or buy ten pairs of Jordans or buy all the men’s T-shirts at Zara and cut them up. It’s all about having fun and making things your own."
"I like to keep an effortless edge to everything I do," she added. "I think the kids get that, and that inspires them to do the same."

RZA On Working With Kanye

RZA On Working With Kanye:
RZA has worked with Kanye on his highly-acclaimed 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and now the Wu-Tang legend has discussed contributing to the rapper's joint project with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne.
"Kanye asked me to send tracks while they were in Australia," RZA revealed in an interview. "I just thought I would send some sh*t that would be rugged. I know they can find the poppy, hip-hop places, but I wanted to send them some real edgy sh*t. Apparently they thought they were great - Kanye said, 'Send some more of that Wu sh*t!' -- In the past, when Jay-Z did Best of Both Worlds with R. Kelly, I thought it was a great album but the campaign went south because of personalities. With this project, it's the best of many worlds. These two guys have a great chemistry and a great relationship. I'm excited."

Miguel On Freaky Tweeting

Miguel On Freaky Tweeting:
Miguel is wary of saying too much via digital screens. The singer shared his thoughts on 'sexting' and freaky tweets in a recent interview. Miguel says he's not against it--but we all should be careful about what we say digitally.
"People are way more bold texting and Facebook-ing things than they are saying it," he says. "You might say something that's a little more forward than if you were in person. I'm always on Twitter and BBM; it's definitely, um, helpful. I try not to do it too much on Twitter, though. You could make a huge mistake--you think you're sending a direct message [to one person] but you're sending a tweet to everyone [laughs]."

Fantasia Is Pregnant?

Fantasia Is Pregnant?
Fantasia made a big announcement during a performance at a charity concert for the opening of the new Riverview Apartments in Jacksonville, FL. The singer--who has been keeping a relatively low-profile since last year's engagement-suicide-adultery scandal, reportedly shared that she was expecting.
"For a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me," Fantasia reportedly said. "But now I tell you I don't live my life for folk."
"THIS CHILD THAT I AM CARRYING...God has given me this child," she added defiantly. "And I don't have to hide it from none of y'all."
You probably should be more concerned with the fact that you're playing the opening of an apartment building in Jacksonville, sweetheart.
